回族不吃猪肉因为回族人信仰伊斯兰教．是穆斯林．在中国共有十个民族信仰伊斯兰教．他们都是穆斯林．
穆斯林不吃猪肉的原因:
穆斯林不吃猪肉，主要是来自安拉的禁令“你们可以吃真主所赐给你们的佳美的食品，当感谢真主，如果你们只敬拜真主，那么他只禁止你们吃自死物、流血、猪肉，以及诵真主以外的名义宰的……你们不要信口胡诌说∶这是合法的，那是非法的，以假借真主之名而造谎，造谎者决不能成功。”（古兰经16章116节)。
穆斯林不吃猪肉，根本的原因是信仰，对安拉的命令绝对忠诚，深信至大的安拉对他的奴仆仁慈和爱护，许多禁止的行为，例如禁止吃猪肉，必定有许多超越人类思维理解的智慧和恩惠。安拉对信士是至仁、至慈、至爱的，禁止我们的行为，必然是防止人们受害，也是对信士忠诚的考验，例如老师禁止学生抄袭和作弊，母亲不许儿女说谎和偷懒，听话的孩子表现了忠和孝，锻炼成为好人品，终生受用不尽。

Why not eat pork muslim:
